MakeTime For Kids – March 18 1pm-4pm

Hey Parents,
We are doing it again! On March 18th MakerSpace Nanaimo will be holding its monthly MakeTime for Kids Event. Check out our photo albums for lots of pictures of our past events.
We run this events in collaboratively with Sarah Bromley from Kids Learning code. This month we have Aaron Halsall and Henry Zhang, two biology students for VIU joining us. These two will be bringing in two different type of microscopes, some pond and soil samples and be introducing any kid interested to the world of microscopy.
On top of the Microscopy Section, we will have sections on: Vex Assembly, Basic electronics with Snap Circuits, 3D printing demonstrations and an introduction to our 3D printing workshops, Basic Robotics Programming with Dash and Dot, Introduction to Scratch Programming, and of course our classic wood working project ( Project to be determined. Note: Due to material costs and pre-fabricating packages for assembly we charge an addition $10 for these take home projects)
As always, the event runs from 1pm – 4pm and is a $10 entry fee for each Adult/Child pair. Tickets can be purchased here – https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/maketime-for-kids-march-18-tickets-32652982951
