Purpose: To enable Makerspace members to become Python literate.

Instructor: Bentley Born has spent several years teaching practical Python programming to university professors, high school teachers and university students.

Why Learn Python?

  • It is the standard in academia.
  • Commonly used for automation and integration.
  • Industry standard for data science, AI, machine learning, and cloud computing.
  • Versatile: can be used in anything from microcontrollers to mainframes.

Requirements:

  • Bring your own laptop (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
