We've divided the tools into the categories listed below. To see more than the brief listings below, click on the menu categories above to see more details.
Woodworking.
We have a fully equipped wood shop with all of the main tools; table saw (SawStop), chop saw, drill press, sanders (drum, belt, spindle), band saws, routers, lathe and sharpening stations. As well, a 4' by 4' wood-specific CNC*. We also have 2 sets of hand held cordless tools including a trimmer router and a significant inventory of hand tools.
Whether you're a novice or a skilled wood worker we have the tools and equipment to turn your plans into a finished project. Speaking of finishing, we have an 4' x 8' paint booth as well.
Metalworking.
The main metalworking tools we have are: metal lathe, milling machine, drill press, belt sander, sand blaster, CNC controlled plasma cutter table* and a welding booth.
Digital Fabrication.
Instead of only considering this to be just 3D printing, we prefer to add the laser cutter, the woodshop CNC, the metal shop plasma table and the vinyl cutter under this category. These are all machines that take commands from a computer to either add or subtract materials.
Electronics.
Our electronics lab area has a wide array of instrumentation: multiple power supplies, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, soldering and de-soldering tools. Also we have a plethora of donated parts available for repair and prototyping.
Crafts.
A category of various "crafty" tools that don't fit in the above categories.
